AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The APJ Industries and Partner Solutions Center of Excellence (I&PS COE) is responsible AWS's partner growth strategy in targeted Industries, Services, and through differentiated partner solutions built on AWS. As the leader of this team, this roles vision and objective is create the most customer-obsessed industry, cross-industry, and service-centric partner capability that drives business outcomes through solutions and services while improving partners' experience and profitability.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborating and interlocking with AWS Industries (AWSI) teams as the "north star" to set AWS's industry partner strategy and thought leadership.
- Seamlessly and effectively work with the APJ Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), AWS Services teams, Geo Partner Management teams, AWS Global Sales (AGS), Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS), and other AWS stakeholders located across APJ to deliver transformational customer outcomes through Partners.
- Lead a high-performing team of professionals operating in 11 different countries across APJ who bring high levels of subject matter expertise in AWS native services, customer industries, and product and solution delivery.
- Closely collaborate with executive stakeholders internally and externally, including Sales, Business Development, Product, Finance, and Legal professionals.
Basic qualifications
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- 10+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience
- Experience building and leading large teams and have worked in matrixed operating structures
- Experience in leadership roles in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development, or other related fields
- Experience managing and developing high performance teams
- Experience supporting market and insights related to cloud computing and IT or equivalent
