Job Scope
- Experience in buying multi-products e.g. electronics, confectioneries, sundries in sectors like China, SEA countries & locally Effective negotiator for best price and items.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and co-ordination with forwarders, shipping companies, locally & overseas.
- Analyze existing inventories, sales history and forecasts to make recommendations on inventory and replenishment planning.
- Achieve profitability targets through stock control, pricing policy and promotional activities.
- Procurement of material and negotiation with suppliers, ensuring price is always competitive and landed cost evaluation is performed.
- To ensure proper purchasing procedures are carried out in accordance to company ISO procedure including implementing controls to reduce risk of unnecessary purchases.
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Business Studies or other equivalent
- 3 – 5 years related experience in relevant field
- Specializing in purchasing Foodstuff & General Sundries will be advantageous
