Responsibilities
- Works with Director, Business Development to identify, initiate, and analyze potential partnerships.
- Supports the coordination of all aspects of the development process both internal and external, including prospecting/qualification, pitching, due diligence, contract negotiations.
- Successfully onboards units to the platform to meet individual unit goals.
- Respond pro-actively towards the hotel business requirements
- Research new sales leads and contacts
- Ensure close liaison with key corporate accounts through regular contact, networking and visit
- Take reservations and seek closure on enquiries & sales calls
- Liaise with all departments on clients requirements
- Ensure the team members are looking presentable with clean, ironed uniforms at all times and that team members are wearing name badges at all times
- Ensure company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by the team members at all times
- Manage team members annual leave days throughout the year effectively and according to the level of hotel business
- Carry out appraisals for Sales & Marketing Department
Skills and qualifications
- Demonstrated ability of strong project management and organizational skills with a service mindset
- Understanding of revenue management and distribution channels.
- To be able to take initiative and make decisions
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Ability to work on weekend, public holiday and night shift
- Ability to work under pressure
