Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the repair and maintenance of all plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for key equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Identify issues, troubleshoot, and manage repairs promptly to prevent major malfunctions and extend the life of equipment.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the plant by closely monitoring equipment performance and optimizing plant processes.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas of improvement in process efficiency and energy use.
- Maintain effective communication between maintenance and operations teams to prioritize urgent repairs and routine maintenance.
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Conduct training and mentoring programs to enhance the skills of team members.
- Schedule and delegate maintenance tasks effectively to maximize team productivity and equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits and implement corrective measures for identified risks to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 – 6 years of relevant repair & maintenance experience in chemical plant, with strong mechanical background and have knowledge and slight experience in electrical maintenance.
- Must be mechanical background with experience in chemical plant.
- Strong in analytical and management skills
