We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering hybrid cloud strategies, operating models, and technology service management practices. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and automation technologies to ensure the highest standards of availability, agility, capacity, resiliency, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement hybrid cloud strategies and operating models.
- Design and deliver cloud applications on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure using cloud-native design and patterns.
- Architect microservices and event-driven architectures using open source, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Java, message queues, streaming, databases, and cloud data services.
- Automate full lifecycle management of application hosting platforms in data centers and public clouds using DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
- Utilize cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes (particularly RedHat OpenShift 4.x), Infrastructure as Code, Service Mesh, Immutable Infrastructure, and declarative APIs.
- Influence key stakeholders ranging from C-level executives, MDs, CISO, application architects, and subject matter experts.
- Develop return-on-investment and business case analyses.
- Ensure compliance with industry technology standards and security & compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, CSM).
- Collaborate with audit and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Apply AGILE, LEAN, or SaFE methodologies to project management.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in delivering hybrid cloud strategies, operating models, and technology service management practices.
- Proven track record of delivering cloud applications on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive experience in designing microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure and Platform Automation technology products such as Amazon CloudFormation, VMware vRealize Suite, HashiCorp Suite, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef.
- Strong understanding of AGILE, LEAN, or SaFE methodology.
- Knowledge of industry technology standards and security & compliance frameworks.
- One or more AWS/Azure Certifications at Professional and/or Specialty level.
- Excellent communication skills to influence key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
