Job Description:
W4 Global Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and optimize our finance operations. This role requires a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and effective leadership skills. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR),and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and analyze financial metrics to track and report on the business's financial performance.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets in collaboration with senior management.
- Provide regular financial forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Review, analyze, and optimize operational and project-based expenses to achieve budgetary goals.
Tax and Compliance:
- Handle GST reporting, tax submissions, and statutory compliance to meet regulatory standards.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory bodies, ensuring compliance with local financial and tax regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to financial policies and procedures.
Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Implement efficient cash flow strategies, optimizing AR and AP cycles for improved working capital.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow projections and manage banking relationships
Payroll and Compensation:
- Supervise monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of employee salaries and benefits.
- Oversee employee reimbursements, CPF submissions, and related payroll reporting.
Internal Controls and Process Improvement:Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent discrepancies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Financial Analysis and Business Support:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to support business strategy.
- Work with department heads on cost management initiatives, providing data-driven guidance for budget adherence.
- Lead or support special projects, including system upgrades or implementation of new financial tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum requirement).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s accounting and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities within deadlines.
