Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
· Lead a team to drive and monitor programs or projects such that cost, quality, plan, time, and benefits realization are controlled and achieved, and the project meets the overall goal
· Leading project planning sessions
· Manage the risk and issue log, action log and decisions log
· Track project financials to ensure that the projects adhere to the agreed budget
· Ensure cross-project dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained
· Coordinate project closure to distill good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged
· Build cohesion within the team and motivate the team to produce quality work
· Define and embed project control and governance
· Manage project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting
· Monitor project progress and escalate any risks, issues, action items or change controls.
· Monitor progress to make sure project is on time and on budget, Managing project budget. Completing the project within the set budget and time
· Facilitate meetings with project team; Communicate project status to managers, peers and Stakeholders
· Plan all stages of a project - Inception, Resource Mobilization, Analysis & Desin, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, Deployment
· Organize and maintain Program/Project artifacts/documents;
· From planning in the beginning to making sure all tasks of the project are completed
· Technology & Trend Evaluation: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and accessibility standards. Evaluate and recommend their adoption in future projects to drive innovation and competitiveness.
· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for project management, processes, and accessibility compliance, ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.
· Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile development, with particular attention to challenges in performance, scalability, and accessibility.
· Ensure stakeholder satisfaction, ensure projects are managed in accordance with established PMO frameworks;
· Ensuring projects meet deadlines
· Organizing and motivating a project team
· Facilitate meetings with project team
· Prepare regular project status reporting for management , including steering committee reporting
· Support strategic planning (yearly Projects planning and tracking and new strategy development)
Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Extensive functional & technical knowledge: Total 18 years 6 months of information technology experience and 17 years' 9 months Experience Banking Experience: Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking platforms (Internet Banking), Front-Middle-Back-office processes and systems, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, Payments & Transfer, Forex, KYC, Settlements. (Banking and Finance Domain), Trade finance.
Technical / Professional Skills
· Pre Project planning to manage Firmwide programs and initiatives. To work along with Business Sponsors, Product Owners, Domain Architects, FBA, SME’s, Tech & Vendor teams for system design and solutions.
· Prepare the Business and Financial case for Budget approval
· Proven track record in Stakeholder management, requiring impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management, and benefits realization
· Ensured the project data including RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues, and resource forecasts are well tracked and reported weekly in the PWC and monthly to the PSC (Project Steering Committee) members.
· Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership
· Define the Project Scope, which includes the project objectives, deliverables, and timeline.
· Identify the Internal & external Stakeholders
· Conduct Feasibility Analysis
