Seeking for a highly motivated legal secretary with litigation experience in law firms to support a litigation & dispute resolution department.

- Litigation experience in legal firms
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
- Meticulous, accurate and detailed oriented
- Can be trusted to follow instructions, meet deadlines, perform tasks consistently, and communicate effectively
- Positive working attitude and a team player
Job Scope:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to lawyers such as preparation of bundles of court documents, updating and maintaining case files, including monitoring court timelines;
- Reviewing, reading and drafting of pleadings, applications and affidavits;
- Preparing documents such as letters, bills and court documents;
- Maintaining the lawyers’ calendars by recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings and filing requirements and scheduling of meetings;
- Electronic filing of documents via e-litigation and general administration work including preparing court bundles;
- Keeping track of solicitor’s time records and billing;
- Corresponding with clients;
- Other assigned duties on ad hoc basis
The Legal Secretary should have a good command of written and spoken English, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, PDF editors and E-litigation. Proficiency and experience with legal management systems are advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
