Job Description
-To assist logistics Manager with documentation and shipping arrangements.
- Handle LCL/FCL for import/export processing.
- Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that they are comply with import/ export rules and regulation.
- Manage daily operations and respond to customer inquiries and requests
- Process inquiries and send booking confirmations to customers
- Liaise and follow up with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, transporters and warehouses.
- Liaises with shipping company, customs official, Jurong Port authorities, PSA authorities, transport contractors, and customer to ensure on- time delivery
- Track shipment status to ensure on- time delivery
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and time management
- Detail- oriented, positive attitude and willing to learn
- Able to work in 5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturday after probation)
- Prefer 1-2 years experience in Customer Service Officer (Logistics)
