This internship is part of NYC Youth Corps Community Internship.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Recruiting new beneficiaries (community visits, calls)
- Engaging beneficiaries (paid activities, registration renewals)
- Activity Facilitator on days with activities
- Preparing and executing activities
- Cleaning up the centre & organising inventory
- Student administration & customer service (managing attendance and post-activity feedback sheets, answering queries, resolving complaints)
- Managing volunteers during activities (giving instructions, briefing & debriefing)
Requirements
- Passionate about the education and social work industry
- Comfortable speaking to families via calls and Whatsapp
- Minimum commitment of 4-months
- Workdays are Wednesday - Sunday, Off on Monday – Tuesday (non-negotiable)
- Work hours are from 9:30am - 6:30pm
- Est Start: March 2025 - August 2025
