Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop project budgets and conduct regular cost analysis to monitor expenditures.
- Provide accurate cost forecasts and financial reports to stakeholders.
- Review contract terms and ensure all project-related contracts are in compliance with legal and financial standards.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontracts and procurement contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Participate in the tendering process by preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and other tender documents.
- Conduct evaluations of supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure value for money.
- Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts for submission to clients.
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor claims in accordance with project progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in the civil construction industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Project & AutoCAD.
- Attention to details, able to meet deadlines
- Able to start work immediately / within short notice is a plus
