M&E Design Manager (Iconic mixed development)
Our client is one of the leading A1 main contractors with over 20 years of history in Singapore. They have built an impressive track record in doing private residential projects, mixed development, commercial, infrastructure and some of the iconic projects in Singapore.
Currently they are looking for an M&E Design Manager for an iconic mixed development with contract value in billions. Ideally they would prefer to hire someone from engineering consultancy with design experience in large-scale building projects. 5-day work per week and performance bonuses are provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of M&E systems, ensuring compliance with standards, perform calculations, review drawings, and utilize CAD/BIM for optimal integration.
- Advise clients on M&E system selection, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure designs are cost-effective and sustainable.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage design modifications, and provide on-site technical support.
- Promote energy-efficient designs, integrate renewable solutions, and introduce innovative M&E technologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with authorities for approvals.
- Maintain thorough design documentation, prepare reports, and lead design review meetings.
- Mentor design engineers, ensuring the team is coordinated and delivers high-quality outputs.
Requirements
- Min Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in M&E design tools such as CAD, BIM, and other industry-standard software.
- Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience working with engineering consultancies.
