The Senior IT AWS Cloud Security Architect will lead and manage the organization’s information security architecture ensuring the protection of critical assets and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls across all layers of the organization’s systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary security expert, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive security solutions across various layers, including operating systems, applications, infrastructure and integrations.
- Establish and enforce multi-layered security controls to enhance organizational resilience.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to strengthen the security posture and ensure compliance.
- Lead the development and execution of the organization’s cloud security strategy, leveraging modern technologies and native services.
- Mentor and develop the Security Engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security into business solutions and manage expectations effectively.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in security architecture and 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Security Engineering and DevSecOps practices.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, or AWS Certified Security.
- Proven track record in managing complex security engineering projects and implementing solutions within the financial industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices following MAS TRM Guidelines.
