Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for existing customers and pricing enquiry of freight forwarding services.
- Handle and assist on RFQ from international customers.
- Prepare sales proposal and quotations based on customers requirement.
- Follow up on sales proposal and collect customer feedback for improvement.
- Handle customers complaint and to resolve the issue.
- Coordinate with operations team in relations to the implementation of RFQ.
- Contributes to client acquisition and retention, by analysing customer behaviour from enquiries and feedback.
- Travel out of the office to network with potential and existing clients, and to close sales leads.
- Innovative and resourceful, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet clients' needs.
- Supports the development of sales strategies, by monitoring the competitor, generating and following up on business leads locally and regionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Hunting Sales Experience in Freight Forwarding (Air or Ocean) / Shipping/Logistics Industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships
- Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
