Job Description:
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion;
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations;
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors;
- Vertical wall construction in marine work fields;
- Dredging and maintenance works in ports, harbours, etc;
- Reclamation of ports and industrial areas;
- Rock dredging in open sea conditions;
- Soil improvement works in ports and harbours;
- Oil recovery and cleansing operations;
- Meet contractual conditions of performance;
- Review the work progress on daily basis;
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones;
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permit and licenses’;
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management of Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ working experience as a Project Manager or Manager position in civil engineering projects and completed at least 2 projects of similar or its equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Marine Works
- Completed at least 2 huge reclamation or related projects
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resourcesmanagement skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- 5.5 days' workweek
