Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer manages existing customers and develop new customers. He/She fosters good customer relationship, understands the customer's business needs and look for business opportunity for revenue growth and customer retention. He/She provides pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.
Principle Accountabilities
- Manage and attend to specific customers to achieve company’s sales target.
- Account management for assigned customers.
- To support and meet sales department objectives and business goals.
- Attend to all customers’ enquiries.
- Provide sales forecast and plan for production capacity.
- Work closely with our overseas counterparts for various customers’ development activities.
- Assist in implementing and planning for developing of new customers.
- Provide short and long term analysis on market demand.
- Assist in preparing market analysis through data collection for management presentation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned by Manager
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering discipline
- Min. 3 years of sales experience with proven track record of success as a local or regional sales
- Knowledge of semiconductor tools and processes a must
- Knowledge of semiconductor market trends and customer needs advantageous
- Experienced with MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experienced with sales forecasting tools, and sales pipeline management advantageous
