We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for managing the ICT infrastructure aspects of various projects from initiation to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business and application requirements, and design infrastructure solutions accordingly.
- Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and oversee maintenance contracts, negotiating terms with vendors to ensure value for money.
- Lead the planning, deployment, and support of application infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows, SQL Server clustering, and VMware virtualization (vSAN).
- Coordinate the integration of AWS and Azure Cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) into the organization’s infrastructure.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to public/government standards
- Oversee daily operations and support for application infrastructure
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in ICT infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Cloud services, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS is an added advantage.
- Experience in public/government sector is an added advantage.
