Mission statement:
Energy System Project Management leads the execution of projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support the organization in process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, an Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education, typical conditions of the position like work are closely supervised, problems faced are not difficult or complex, explain facts, policies and practice related to job area, process adherence and application of project management methodology.
- You will define jointly with the Project Control department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
- You will ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies, effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
- You will identify, qualify, quantifies and manage risk, ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued, capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
- You will ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed, drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
- You will ensure that the project consistently apply contract and claim management, in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements, coordinate with Supply Chain Management and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
- You will support Supply Chain Management in negotiation, claim and project change, act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders, ensure the project follows and comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
