Job Description
- Assist the Head of ICT to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure.
- Responsible to provide technical support, monitor system performance and assist in the development and implementation of ICT policies and procedures.
- Managing remote teams and ensure that team members are working effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the organization's ERP system.
- Assist the Head of ICT to plan, implement and manage the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to end-users which includes troubleshooting, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining user accounts.
- Monitor system performance and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of ICT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to information technology.
- Manage the organization's ICT assets, including hardware, software, and network devices.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of new technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Provide training to end-users on ICT systems and processes.
- Manage and lead remote teams, including setting goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring team members are working effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure effective communication with remote teams, including regular check-ins and video conferencing to facilitate face-to-face communication.
- Establish clear expectations and goals for remote team members and use project management tools to help track progress and ensure accountability.
- Foster teamwork among remote team members and encourage collaboration on projects.
- Provide support to remote team members, including training, equipment, software, or access to technical support.
- Recognize and reward success among remote team members to help motivate them to continue working hard and contributing to the team's success.
- Understand cultural differences among remote team members and adapt management style accordingly.
- Trust and empower remote team members to make decisions and work independently while providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Manage the development and implementation of the organization's ERP system, including overseeing the project team, developing project plans, and ensuring successful implementation on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements and ensure that the ERP system meets their needs.
- Ensure that ICT projects, including the ERP implementation, are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network devices
- Knowledge of industry best practices in ICT management, security, and compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience managing remote teams
- Project management experience, including experience with ERP development and implementation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
- Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday with occasional after-hours work required
- Work will be primarily in an office environment, but may also require some travel to other locations
- May be required to lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
