Job Scope:
- Prepare and manage project cost estimates and budgets
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering assessments
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiation
- Monitor and report on project costs, including variations and claims
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial viability
- Perform cost analysis and risk assessment for projects
- Oversee the preparation of bills of quantities and other relevant documentation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and support staff
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Attend meetings and present financial reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or Quantity Surveying (minimum 3 years of experience) or Diploma in the same fields (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Bilingual in English and Chinese for communication with clients and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office required
