POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic individual with extensive experience in the insurance brokerage industry to serve as Head of Relationship Management. This role will report directly to the CEO and will primarily concentrate on generating new business, identifying client opportunities, and formulating and executing strategies for relationship and business development aimed at enhancing revenue growth and overall business success.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the board to contribute to revenue growth and expand our market presence.
- Establish new channels for business acquisition across all business lines to ensure sustained growth, aligning revenue growth with the overall company strategy.
- Work in partnership with all business departments to identify areas of improvement and implementation plans to design the best possible client journey.
- Analyse market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments to equip clients with insights and help positioning Diot-Siaci Asia as a trusted advisor for both individual and corporate clients.
- Collaborate closely with teams across various business units to prioritize the development of new business opportunities and establish relationships with both existing clients and potential clients.
- Partner with the marketing department to design targeted campaigns that align with our marketing strategies.
Strategic Account Management
- Develop, execute, and manage strategies for relationship management aimed at strengthening and broadening essential client partnerships.
- Improve client satisfaction, retention, and growth by providing exceptional, tailored solutions that meet the specific requirements of clients.
Team Leadership
- Coach and mentor the relationship managers, providing guidance on recognizing potential opportunities and developing effective sales presentations to drive outstanding performance, improve client relationships, and boost client satisfaction.
- Foster and encourage a collaborative team dynamic in both internal and external business interactions.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry with a successful track record in business development and new business sales. Applicants lacking that level of experience will not be contacted.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and strategic planning capabilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and able to establish trust with colleagues and clients, and influence key stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance brokerage operations, products, and services is a plus, along with a deep understanding of the target market and competitive environment in Singapore.
