Job purpose
The jobholder is primarily responsible for the management of volunteers and stakeholders, delegating them to our sheltered home, daycare centres and activity ageing centre as well as seniors living in the community. He / She will manage the volunteer skill-upgrading programme. He / She will also be required to support the Community Engagement department with ad-hoc and secretariat duties.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support the department’s operations in coordinating programmes and events with volunteers, community partners and relevant stakeholders.
- Plan & execute community engagement and collaboration activities
- Plan & execute volunteer-initiated events and programmes
- Support the department’s purchase requisition or any other financial requirements via our financial procurement system
- Support the department by performing other ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Possess a university degree
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for presentations
- Able to perform basic data analysis using Power BI would be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
- Resourceful, able to work independently and in a team with volunteers & community leaders
- Able to work on some weekday evenings and weekends (ad-hoc basis)
- Preferably 1 – 2 years of work experience in volunteer/stakeholder management and social service/eldercare sector
- Fresh university graduates are welcome
