As Industrial Operations Manager of the Regional Company:
The job holder will be in charge to organize the full process of the Partnership Memo (PM):
- Maintain a data base of all the status of all the documents related to the PM
- Cross information (from sales forecast, Go To Market, Gates, communication with stakes holder) to ensure all necessary PM are asked for and received
- Obtain the signature from all stakeholders and distribute the signed copies
- Get the relevant Statement of Work (SoW), detailed KIP Price and responsibility matrix in RACI format (when possible and relevant)
In the KIP process, in coordination with IOD, CDs, KIP managers the position will be in charge of:
- Liaise with the OU to maintain a data base on the date of coming into force of the main contract, of the KIP contract, of the significant variation of the KIP contract, of the end of the KIP contract and of the end of the main contract
- To organize yearly with the KIP manager the evaluation survey with the exporting units having a contract with a KIP, to collect the feedback of these OU on the performances of the partner
- To obtain a KIP evaluation report from the OU at the renewal of a KIP qualification and at the end of a contract.
- To monitor the implementation of any action plan linked to a Risk Factor
- To monitor and if required to implement with the KIP any maturity or improvement plan decided by the IOD and KIP Managers during the qualification phase or as a consequence of the yearly feedback from OU.
In bid phase, the position will :
- Support the bid team (from OU or the Country of destination) in the specification of the SoW and in the negotiation with the Key Industrial Partners (KIP).
- Participate to the evaluation of the best contractual scheme with the KIP;
- Participate to the price analysis of the KIP in a reverse engineering mode based on the SoW/Detailed price/Responsibility matrix. This is to check the consistency between the added value and the price of the KIP
In project phase, the position will:
- Analyze the initial sub-contract when the Key Industrial Partners (KIP) is subcontractor or the consortium agreement when the Key Industrial Partners (KIP) is co-contractor, and any potential future variation orders or amendments ;
- Contribute to implementation of Framework Agreements with Key Industrial Partners (KIP) and the Risk Factor action plans under IOD responsibility;
In addition to the above, the Job Holder will be in charge of all the tasks devoted to his/her position pursuant to the Internal Instructions of the Group as well as Board resolutions of the RC.
- More generally, the Job Holder will participate to the securing of the day-to-day operations of the Regional Company and the involved Thales Operational Units with due reference to the best practices and ethics rules.
- The Job Holder will be required to travel from time to time in the Regions covered by the RC
Requirements
- Good understanding of both local industrial partners need for Thales Business Lines as well as of Thales Compliance policies ;
- Good experience in bids, projects, operations, management & negotiation areas ;
- Deep knowledge of the Thales Group and a broad understanding of the various BLs ;
- Business and finance competence ;
- Autonomous, well-versed in internal control, organised, detailed-oriented and work on schedule ;
- Good team player with strong analytical, management, communications and interpersonal skills ;
- Good Leadership competencies in line with Thales Leadership Model.
