Network Engineer

Network/Security

  • L2 install/operate/troubleshoot (switches) - (Products – Cisco/HP/Juniper)
  • Experience in STP, VSS, VLAN, PVLAN, Stack, POE,
  • Plan for upgrade of firmware and other operational tasks
  • Administration of Cisco ISE
  • L3 install/operate/troubleshoot (Routers) - (Products – Cisco/HP/Juniper)
  • Experience in routing protocols like BGP/OSPF/Static/EIGRP
  • Operate and troubleshoot complex routing environment
  • Install/operate/troubleshoot Wireless LAN controllers & AP’s.
  • Firewalls ( Products – Checkpoint/ Cisco/Fortinet/Paloalto) – Paloalto/Cisco Firepower and Fortinet is a Must
  • Install/operate/troubleshoot

Policy, routing, Security features, patches


Site-to-site IPsec VPN tunnels


Policy review and clean up


Sound knowledge in DMZ architecture.


SSLVPN(remote access) gateway (Juniper/Checkpoint)

  • Install/operate/troubleshoot

Security (IPS/IDS)

  • knowledge in IPS/IDS.

Monitoring (WUG/Cacti/Solarwinds/HP SAM)

  • Sound knowledge and experience in managing/operating Solarwinds/WUG/Cacti
  • Building dashboards in monitoring tools
  • Running automated reports in monitoring tools


ITIL ( HP SM9/Servicenow)

  • Experience in process management (HP SM9/Servicenow)
  • Deep understanding of ITIL process.

Strong knowledge on Azure/AWS and any cloud based services

  • Manage/Operate firewalls and vPC/vNET
  • Troubleshoot Cloud hosted services connectivity issues

Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors and may require to work after office hours.


Knowledge in SD-WAN/MPLS/MetroE


May require travelling within Singapore to the customer location and work from Customer location.


Strong documentation skills


Ability to learn and adapt new technologies quickly and able to work together as a team


Good time management and communication skills


Weekly on call Support.


Certification in Cisco/Checkpoint/Fortinet/AWS/Azure is an added advantage.


Qualifications – Minimum Bachelors in Info-communication technology or equivalent.

Experience – Minimum 7+ Years of Experience and 5 years working in an Enterprise or DC IT environment.
