Job Summary
We are looking for a junior Front-End Developer with a primary focus on testing and quality assurance to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance, ensuring the front-end components of our software applications function seamlessly and meet our high standards for quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate the functionality and appearance of front-end components, ensuring they align with design and performance expectations.
- Conduct a mix of manual and automated testing, with an emphasis on manual testing to keep up with the fast paced release of features.
- Analyze test results and work with developers to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and suggest improvements.
- Diagnose, document, and collaborate with other developers to resolve front-end issues efficiently.
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT or a related Engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in quality assurance or front end testing.
- Familiarity in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to understand and manipulate front-end code for testing purposes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong passion for quality and user experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
- Eagerness to learn advanced skills in automated testing tools and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
