Job Summary

Oversee the logistics functions and activities, warehouse management, and day to day deliveries.



Job Responsibilities:

Demand Planning:

1. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales and marketing to utilize insights from market trends, promotional campaigns, and historical sales data to accurately forecast customer demand.

2. Develop Demand Planning Strategies: Partner with the procurement team to devise strategies that ensure the supply meets the forecasted sales targets.


Delivery Planning:

1. Ensure Daily Deliveries: Monitor and ensure that daily delivery targets are met.

2. On-Time Dispatch of Orders (OTIF): Guarantee that all completed orders are dispatched on time to meet the On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery metric.

3. Maintain Quality During Transportation: Oversee the delivery process to ensure products are delivered in a manner that maintains their quality.

4. Inspection by Delivery Team: Ensure the delivery team inspects goods for the correct quantity and quality before delivery.

5. Recommend Optimal Transport Modes and Routes: Identify and recommend the most efficient transport modes and routes to improve delivery frequency.

6. Resolve Delivery Issues: Analyze and address delivery problems quickly, providing solutions and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.


Warehouse Planning:

1. Ensure Product Quality and Compliance: Maintain high standards for product quality, ensuring all products meet company standards.

2. Optimize Warehouse Space: Plan and organize the warehouse layout and inventory to maximize space utilization and smooth operations.

3. Establish Security Procedures: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect warehouse operations and contents.

4. Enforce FIFO Policy: Ensure adherence to the First-in-First-Out policy and maintain 100% accuracy in inventory movement and traceability.

5. Regular Inventory Checks: Conduct cycle counts and stock-take activities on schedule, ensuring inventory accuracy and updating transactions accordingly.

6. Address Inventory and Delivery Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory and deliveries promptly, taking corrective actions as needed.

7. Implement 5S Practices: Apply 5S methodology to maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the warehouse.

8. Manage and Monitor KPIs: Oversee operational key performance indicators to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.


People Management:

1. Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet agreed objectives and deliver continuous improvements.

2. Set Objectives and KPIs: Define departmental goals and KPIs, reviewing and assessing the ongoing performance of direct reports.

3. Leadership and Motivation: Exhibit strong leadership to motivate and encourage teamwork, ensuring productivity targets are achieved.

4. Policy Adherence: Ensure all staff strictly follow company policies.

5. Understand and Implement Quality Policies: Ensure the team understands and complies with the company's quality policies and objectives.

6. Effective Communication: Maintain excellent communication and relationships with both internal and external customers, promoting optimal performance within the distribution team.


Recruitment and Training:

1. Staff Recruitment and Training: Organize the recruitment and training of staff, monitoring performance and progress, and ensure new employees receive appropriate orientation and training.


Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management with at least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and supply chain management.

* Innovative thinker with a proven track record of implementing effective solutions in logistics and warehousing.

* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting high standards and completing challenging tasks.

* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of managing and developing a diverse team.

* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred, to cater to a diverse workforce and clientele.

* Exceptionally high personal and professional standards, with a relentless drive to pursue excellence and complete challenging tasks.
