Job Purpose
Work closely with departments to provide efficient and timely operational support on recruitment, employee engagement, training & development, payroll and HR administration.
You will ensure all HR practices are aligned and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and exit processes, which includes manpower planning, orientation, confirmation,performance management and offboarding.
- Maintain and upkeep of employee records. This includes all HR Reports and MOM surveys.
- Assist with daily operations of the HR functions e.g. employee enquiries, grievances and complaints, and all work-related HR issues.
- Work with line managers to identify training needs and addressing competency gaps.
- Drive a fun and caring work environment, supporting an inclusive workplace culture.
- Organize engagement initiatives, activities and programs to support organizational objectives.
- Advise line managers on HR matters relating to Singapore’s labour laws, Employment Act, Immigration, CPF, etc.
- Maintain complete and updated employee records relating to remuneration.
- Perform monthly payroll computation of various cost centers.
- Responsible for timely tax filing (including but not limited to IR21 and IR8A), CPF submission, all government claims and statutory pay requirements.
- Support annual and ad-hoc internal/ external payroll audit.
- Handle ad-hoc activities as and when requested.
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline with at least 3 years ’relevant HR experience
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in payroll will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act preferred.
