CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Skills and experiences required

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry in Singapore

· Demonstrated experience in managing and co-ordinating large-scale construction projects effectively, within budget and timeline, performing as a Project Manager role

· Willing to work extended hours and/or on weekends & public holidays when urgently required

· A team player with initiative, drive and a positive attitude

· Possess Construction Safety Course for Project Manager Certificate (CSCPM)

· Singaporean / Singapore PR preferred

· Preferably able to commence immediately


Duties & Responsibilities

· Able to plan, oversee and manage all phases of company construction projects

· Develop and maintain project schedule, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while adhering to local building regulations and safety requirements.

· Provide the direction in construction planning to ensure overall construction progress is based on schedule of works.

· Manage Client relationship and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

· Manage all coordination and communications with Consultants, Architects, Subcontractors and authorities (BCA, URA, etc) to ensure smooth project execution

· Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures

· Oversee project documentation including Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC)

· Lead and motivate project teams


Qualifications & Other requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or its equivalent
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of LTA regulations and BCA standards.
  • MS Office at least to intermediate level
