Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety Program to promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policies and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
- Advise on work plans, risk assessments, and the development of safe work procedures.
- Identify safety risks and provide effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Lead colleagues in fostering a culture of safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, compile relevant reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit weekly safety reports to management and clients.
- Participate in the implementation and audits of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of WSHE legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental laws.
- Minimum Diploma in Building, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of authority requirements.
- Physically fit, healthy, hardworking, and driven.
- Must hold certifications in ECO (Environmental Control Officer) and ECMO (Emergency Control and Management Officer).
