Role Overview:
The successful candidate will support our client in enhancing quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout product launches.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing customer-specific quality requirements and implementing these through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools like Process Flow Diagrams and Control Plans.
- Leading Built-in Quality workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and tracking improvements until full resolution.
- Addressing and improving quality issues for new programs, including product operations reviews and quality performance metrics.
- Heading Material Review Board meetings, resolving deviations and non-conforming cases effectively.
- Securing Production Part Approval from the customer and supporting smooth Start of Production (SOP).
- Responding to customer feedback and returns using Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving methods.
- Documenting and leveraging lessons learned for future program improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Operating Systems during the product launch phase.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
- Strong knowledge of APQP processes and standards such as TS16949, PPAP, FMEA, and Quality Plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Minimally 3 years of experience in Quality roles, ideally with a focus on product launches.
