The HR Executive plays a key role in supporting HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll operations, and administration.
This position involves ensuring seamless payroll processing, managing employee records, assisting with policy implementation, and supporting HR projects to enhance the employee experience and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll Operations:
o Support the payroll vendor to verify payroll data, including attendance, leave records, and claims.
o Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
• Employee Records and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate and updated employee records, including personal details, benefits, and contract information.
o Assist in the preparation of employment letters, confirmations, and terminations.
o Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in managing employee information.
• Recruitment and Onboarding:
o Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and arranging interviews.
o Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Employee Engagement and Welfare:
o Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and welfare programs.
o Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Compliance and Policy Implementation:
o Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and aligned with legal regulations.
o Support the HR team in implementing and communicating policies and procedures.
• Administration
o Apply, renew and cancel work passes
o Prepare letters (ie. confirmation, acceptance of resignation, certificate of employment)
o All other administrative tasks assigned by the CHRO.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HR operations
• Knowledge in payroll processing is not a must be will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of statutory regulations (e.g. CPF, IRAS)
• Excellent communication skills, with a service-oriented approach.
• High attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple HR tasks effectively
