Our client is one of the leading players in Energy. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a FP&A Analyst to be part of their FP&A team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the South Area - easily accessible.
Responsibility:
- Lead the evaluation, structuring, and financial modeling of investment projects, including funding assessments.
- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models (e.g., cash flow, P&L, sensitivity analyses) for project forecasting.
- Track financial metrics for new projects and report key insights to senior management.
- Review actual vs. forecasted performance, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Partner with teams in costing, operations, and commercial to align financial forecasts with operational goals, supporting pricing and contract negotiations.
- Work with Treasury on project financing, loan reviews, and drawdowns; manage interest rate and currency risks through hedging.
- Contribute to the evaluation of new projects supporting company growth.
- Identify financial and operational risks and collaborate with Risk Management to apply hedging strategies to mitigate project exposure.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or any relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A experience in Oil and Gas or any relevant industry.
- Proficient in Financial Modelling
