Your Responsibility
- Provide guidance and mentoring to new teachers.
- Implement initiatives to improve quality and consistency in teacher’s teaching practice.
- Ensure curriculum materials and lessons plans are aligned with the latest syllabus for your discipline subject.
- Supporting teacher in the lesson delivery of the curriculum through the development of clear teacher reference notes and materials and conducting teacher's syllabus workshop.
- Teach classes in a small group sizes between 6-10 students based on Explorer Academy’s teaching materials.
- Conduct student consultations during your working hours for students who needs extra academic support.
- Provide regular feedback and updates to parents on the student’s progress.
Working hours
- 4 weekdays + 1 Weekend
Job Requirement
- Have prior experience mentoring teachers and managing a team.
- Have prior experience in teaching science
- Familiar with the Singapore MOE primary/secondary school syllabus
- Degree in Science or Education related courses
- Is a resourceful problem-solver, capable of managing projects end-to-end
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passionate in teaching and mentoring students
