We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions for our Malaysia operations, ensuring that all financial activities are completed accurately and promptly. You will work closely with the accountant to manage regional financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full Set SME Accounting in Malaysia:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file SST reports.
• Handle audit, tax, and corporate secretarial matters by liaising with auditors, tax agents, and secretarial agents to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage bank-related matters by liaising with bankers to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the accurate and timely submission of monthly financial statements
• Support ad hoc and other finance-related tasks as required by the Accountant
Consolidation (Conso) Reporting:
• Consolidate regional monthly sales reports.
• Consolidate regional monthly accounts receivable (AR) reports.
• Consolidate regional monthly accounts payable (AP) reports.
• Consolidate monthly cash flow reports.
• Consolidate monthly capital expenditure (CAPEX) reports.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations
• Any other consolidated reports assigned by the Accountant
• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of assigned tasks to Headquarters
• Support all Singapore and Hong Kong Admin / Accounts Team as required by the Accountant
Requirements:
- Education: A Diploma in Accounting and relevant in the accounting field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full set accounting experience
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Autocount) and proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
- Communication Skills: Written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and generate insights for decision-making.
- Detail-oriented: High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience: Working with regional finance teams in a multinational environment.
