Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Credit Control department, ensuring efficient and effective credit and collections processes that align with company goals and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all collections activities are conducted in a fair, transparent, and ethical manner, maintaining positive customer relationships while securing payment.
- Provide hands-on management of the Credit Control team, guiding and assisting in the resolution of complex cases, and addressing any customer concerns with professionalism.
- Oversee the recovery process for delinquent loans, ensuring a balanced approach that minimizes risk while adhering to fair collection practices.
- Compile and prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly reports for submission to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) or any relevant regulatory bodies.
- Promote and uphold the company’s commitment to fair dealings by ensuring that all credit control and collections activities are conducted in accordance with both regulatory standards and the company’s ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., Finance, Marketing and Risk Management) to align on credit-related issues and foster interdepartmental cooperation in resolving complex matters.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Banking/ Finance or equivalent.
- With 5 - 7 years of working experience in Financial Institutions, at least 2 - 3 years of experience at Managerial/ HOD position.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Strong knowledge in hire purchase agreements, and hands on experience.
