Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage reclamation and land work operations, including, temporary works, sand filling, and compaction activities.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all works comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports, permits, and documentation for local authorities and project stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Resolve any construction issues that arise on-site.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Ability to clearly present project updates, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships with management and all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land reclamation or land development projects.
Experience with large-scale civil engineering projects, including coastal or marine environments, is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with local environmental and safety regulations.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work on-site 5.5 days per week at project locations.
