A Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Supervisor with Conrad Hotels and Resorts will actively guide the outlet team by providing assistance and supervision to the Outlet Manager to ensure an efficient, organized and smooth running of the floor operations where guests will receive an excellent Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing?
As a Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Supervisor, you will direct and coordinate the floor operations and provide assistance to the team, to ensure all hotel service standards are met and implemented consistently, leading to excellent guest experience. Specifically, the Supervisor will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Supervise a team of Team Member/Junior Captains/ Captain and Casual workers to provide a consistent and efficient delivery of excellent service to all guests
- Provide and maintain a high guest service focus, being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and request through full implementation of standards, attention to details and personal attention
- Create a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and the team
- Able to work in all areas of the respective outlet / restaurant of Food and Beverage
- Ensure proper cashiering procedures are being performed
- Make recommendations on menu items and up-sell with latest departmental incentives
- Responsible for scheduling of rosters
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Strive to achieve departmental targets
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships - Carry out any other duties as and when required by the superiors.
- Able to mobiles to other department within Food & Beverages Division.
