Trade Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor performance of the assigned services in term of volume, revenue and margin for both inbound & outbound
- Monitor utilization of all vessels sailed from the assigned location as well as the assigned services
- Fine tune cargo mix & customer mix to increase number of TEU loaded on vessels in order to maximum profit for the assigned services
- Approve rate, free time and local charges as per guideline
- Propose rate for Regional Account bidding as per guideline
- Resolve and follow up day to day matters with locations and concerned departments
- Prepare reports and/or analysis related to service or location performance improvement
Product Planning Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform service design and vessel deployment through P&L simulation and analysis
- Negotiate terms with other carriers and draft agreement for joint services
- Prepare weekly/ monthly reports on vessel utilization and margin contribution
- Reconcile billing statement and verify invoices
- Monitor contractual changes
- Monitor and prepare vessel costing and consolidation of service performance for owner's meeting
Requirement:
- Degree qualification in business / economics/ logistics / maritime studies
- Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply, training will be provided
- Candidate should be equipped with good numeracy skills
- Candidate must be meticulous with details, possesses positive learning attitude and able to cope with fast pace working environment
- Proficient in MS Words & Excel
Candidate must be willing to be rotated to the various departments in the Company.
