This post will involve research, design and develop innovative product to fulfil our customer’s industrial needs that focus mainly on Automation (Robotics) and Technology.
Job Description
- Design and develop customized product based on customer’s requirement
- Attend meetings with customer to understand problems and develop solutions that satisfy their project requests
- Conduct research and source for suitable material, product or tools that aids manufacturing process
- Project co-ordination and timeline control between customers and factory
- Support factory during manufacturing assembly
- Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement
- Develop design documents for mechanical parts and final products
- Assist Superior to accomplish ad-hoc projects on hand if needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical discipline
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with ME design tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
- Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics fundamentals
- Good research and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge on motion system design, machining and design process from prototyping, tooling or sheet metal fabrication is a plus
- Experience in programming microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32) in C/C++ or other relevant languages would be an advantage
- Ability to work under tight schedule and willing to put in extra effort to meet project deadline
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Be initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
