Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat customers, ensuring a warm and attentive dining experience.
- Take and serve orders accurately and efficiently, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed menu information, including yakitori dishes, drinks, and specials.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, with expertise and attention to presentation.
- Keep the bar and service areas clean and stocked, ready for service.
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and feedback professionally and positively.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and accurate order delivery.
- Manage payments and transactions accurately.
- Maintain the restaurant’s standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to create an efficient, positive work environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or Japanese restaurant.
- Customer Service Skills: Friendly, outgoing, and attentive to customer needs.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Japanese cuisine, especially yakitori; bartending experience is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
