We’re seeking a seasoned Business Development/Commercial Manager with a proven track record in distribution sales across luxury goods, tobacco, F&B, and high-end retail. Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Strategy:
- Drive market growth by identifying and capturing new local and international opportunities.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to boost brand visibility and increase market share, adapting plans based on evolving market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
Distribution & Regulatory Management:
- Collaborate with distributors to optimize product availability across on-trade and off-trade channels, ensuring smooth, effective distribution.
- Leverage regulatory expertise to navigate local and international compliance requirements, maintaining market access and upholding industry standards.
Strategic Partnerships & Negotiations:
- Build and strengthen relationships with key distributors, retail partners, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and loyalty.
- Lead high-impact negotiations to secure favourable terms, overseeing contract management to align with business objectives.
Brand Advocacy & Market Insights:
- Represent our brand at industry events with professionalism, enhancing its prestige and visibility.
- Stay informed on industry trends, analysing insights to continuously refine and adapt our sales strategies for maximum impact.
Requirements
- Proven success in distribution sales across luxury goods, tobacco, F & B, or high-end retail, with a focus on premium products and luxury markets.
- Strong regulatory knowledge and experience managing compliance in complex markets.
- Skilled in negotiation and contract management.
- Fluent in both MANDARIN and English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Strategic thinker, capable of driving innovation.
- Results-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
