Job Responsibilities
• Take full responsibility for conducting all necessary field surveys, from initial site reconnaissance and boundary identification to final as-built documentation.
• Establish and maintain control points and site benchmarks, ensuring their integrity throughout the construction process.
• Lead the execution of topographic and as-built surveys to capture essential data.
• Take charge of site layout by performing accurate setting out and marking of all structural and infrastructural elements such as roads, buildings, utilities, and earthworks.
• Leadership role in managing and guiding the surveying team, including junior surveyors and chainmen.
• Act as the primary liaison between the survey team and project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee the collection, processing, and interpretation of survey data using tools like total stations (Sokkia, Leica), and AutoCAD. Prepare and present comprehensive survey reports that inform key project decisions.
• Take ownership of identifying and resolving on-site issues, such as site discrepancies, inaccuracies in setting out, or conflicts between design plans and site conditions.
• Implement strict quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and legal compliance of all surveying tasks.
Job Requirements
• Proficient in using common total stations (Sokkia, Leica)
• Min 1 year experience in land surveying. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience with computer-aided design tools, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D software
• Proficient in Math and cartography skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
