Kuno Method is a renowned thinking skills enrichment programme from Tokyo with more than 38 years of proven track record.


We unlock children's intellectual potential to develop important cognitive skills in logical thinking, problem-solving, visual-spatial perception, focused attention, memory, numeracy, geometry, comprehension, communication, etc.


Kuno Method enrichment lessons for 1 to 8-year-olds are fun, interactive and experiential.


We use a holistic, concept-based curriculum to teach thinking skills and concepts often overlooked in childcares and kindergartens to give children a strong headstart and solid foundation.


Highlights

• Small class size of maximum 8 students, with an assistant teacher

• Prepare material and lesson plan

• Weekly training provided by experienced teachers

• Enjoy teaching, with minimal administration duties

• Comfortable with giving parents feedback

• Applicants with no experience or fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• 5-day work week from Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)

Education Qualifications Required

This position is open for both recent polytechnic and university graduates in any discipline.


Specific Responsibilities

1. Teach enrichment classes

2. Assess student's performance against the lesson's learning objectives

3. Provide feedback to parents in English (main) and Mandarin (supplementary)

4. Create and prepare teaching aids and lesson materials

5. Complete teachers' administrative activities and maintain classroom hygiene

6. Participate in the development of new enrichment programmes
