We assemble coalitions of investors to address strategic sustainability issues, using dialogue and shareholder escalation tools to shift the mindsets of senior decision-makers across finance and industry.

Our expertise includes running investor backed engagement programmes and producing high grade research on sustainability themes and management by Asian listed companies. We work on energy, food, and financial systems, setting out the case for change at a range of banks, power, steel and food companies across South-East Asia, China, Japan and India.
The new role of Marketing Communications Senior Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing communication strategies that represent the organisation's voice and mission to key stakeholders. This role involves managing multiple external communication channels; ensuring compelling and timely communication to stakeholders such as industry, funders, governments, and civil society; supporting the Investor Liaison team’s communication with investors; supporting program teams in their communication initiatives; and enhancing the organisation’s visibility and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement effective marketing communication strategies to build company relationships, brand awareness and stakeholder engagement across Asia.
· Ensure effective dissemination of published reports and industry insights through various channels such as press releases, media placements, marketing materials, digital and social media, email campaigns, newsletters, etc to our stakeholders.
· Tailor key messages and broaden our stakeholder engagement with emphasis on companies, capital market bodies, regulators, and media.
· Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, branding materials, and company templates, ensuring consistency in design and messaging across all communication channels.
· Develop and execute public and media relations campaigns including supporting events and partnership activities.
· Lead and develop calendars and content strategies that align with organisational goals such as newsletters and external communications.
· Collaborate with and manage the Design team (internal and/or outsourced) to develop visually engaging collaterals that support both company communications and program team outputs, ensuring alignment with branding and strategic goals.
· Manage the organisation’s external communication platforms such as Website design and updating, company presentations, external (and some internal) meeting planning, ensuring timely and effective content delivery.
· Collaborate with the Research Editor and Program teams to promote research findings and insights effectively.
· Assist the Investor Liaison team with materials development and event support.
· Draft, edit, and design materials for internal stakeholders including PowerPoint presentations and one-off marketing collaterals.
· Monitor and analyse marketing and communication channels output, performance and metrics to optimise engagement in outreach strategies and set benchmarks for improvements.
· Monitor similar organisations market presence to ensure we are competitive with our peers and recommend improvements for increased effectiveness.
· Manage team members across Asia to ensure brand and message integrity and delivery to local markets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a Senior communications or marketing management role.
· Proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies across various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
· Experience managing external communications for diverse stakeholder groups, such as investors, corporates, funders, and government agencies.
· Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators and designers, to meet organisational goals.
· Proficiency in branding, content creation, and maintaining brand consistency, with hands-on experience overseeing the production of marketing collateral and managing design processes.
· Regional experience in Asian countries, especially in India, Japan and China.
· Excellent English language spoken and written.
· Proficient in using communication systems such as Microsoft, Google Docs, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Canva etc.
