Their innovative robots are already making a difference in 30 countries! As they continue to grow, they are seeking a SCM Demand Planner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning:
- Analyze historical data and current market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to align forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and customer demand.
MRP Review and Analysis:
- Regularly review and analyze MRP outputs to identify errors or discrepancies in inventory levels and demand forecasts.
- Spot mistakes in the MRP process and take corrective actions to ensure alignment with actual requirements.
Raw Material Management:
- Ensure that raw materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet production schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and timely deliveries.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with contract manufacturing partners to align on demand planning and inventory management strategies.
- Communicate demand planning insights, potential issues, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and inventory management.
- Implement best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a demand planner, specifically in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of SCM processes.
- Proven experience with MRP systems and the ability to analyze and interpret MRP data.
- Familiarity with contract manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
