Your team:
Group Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBS's internal consultant unit. We are a driven and diverse team with over 690 people present in 4 regions across the globe. As part of the firm’s Group Integration Office (GIO), we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive integration, transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals. Our focus is on delivering high quality services, with fast onboarding, leveraging institutional knowledge. Your expertise:
- You completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Studies or similar (Bachelor or Masters) or a related discipline with higher-than-average grades, with ideally 2-4 years of experience, with experience in data management or advanced analytics
- Hands-on experience with data management and data analysis tools (e.g., Collibra, Python, SQL, Alteryx) as well as with Cloud solutions (e.g., Azure) preferred, relevant certification is a plus
- Familiarity with one or more regulations in the data management space, such as BCBS 239, IFRS, CCAR
- Proficient in Power BI /DAX, including report design, application deployment, and data modeling
- Solid knowledge of data management principles (data governance, data quality, data lineage, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skillset and can-do attitude
- Strong written communication and presentation skills as well as experience in collaborating with various stakeholders across different hierarchy levels
- Proficient in written and spoken English, other languages a plus
