Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting
  • Prepare timely monthly financial overviews, financial reports, and data analysis for senior management
  • Prepare quarterly management reports with detailed information vital to business decisions and manage cost controlling processes
  • Direct and coordinate the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Understand and analyze key drivers to validate forecasts and support business functions in establishing data-driven decisions and strategies
  • Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement and implement new processes
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and regulatory compliance in the region
  • Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Perform regular expense analysis and provide suggestions for more efficient resource management
  • Support the entire procurement process
  • Participate in finance and cross-functional projects/tasks as required
  • Work closely with different stakeholders and provide feedback to ensure projects align with the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Perform ad-hoc duties deemed necessary to cope with emerging needs within the Department

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in Fintech or Financial Services is required
  • Experience working across multiple markets such as the US, China, Hong Kong is required
  • Ability to speak fluent English and native Mandarin to collaborate with colleagues and clients across different locations
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle
  • Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience and ability to deliver high quality output under time pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills and result-oriented mindset
  • Resilient and adaptable, with an ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Highly motivated problem solver with strong planning skills and a positive attitude towards striving for excellence
