About the Role
The following list includes the main duties of the role, but is not exhaustive:
- Working with software developers and application support teams to ensure that system operations follow established processes and work as intended
- Automation of deployment, configuration, updates, fixes, and upgrades to software using tools like Argocd, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Helm
- Designing and managing AWS environments using Terraform and Ansible.
- Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities using automated vulnerability checks.
- Automation of various operational activities by building and implementing scripting solutions using python or similar languages
- Support the implementation and operations of various API services used for integration of mostly market data services, including a technical understanding of FIX and websocket protocols.
Knowledge, Expertise & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role
- Strong background in Linux Administration, open-source technologies & Cloud services
- Experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Bash.
- Good knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible, and Python
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
