Job scope
- Develop mechanical design concepts and create 3D/2D CAD models
- Perform design validation through simulations and testing
- Select materials and optimize designs for cost and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality control
- Support manufacturing during design-to-production transition
- Maintain design documentation and implement continuous improvements
- Communicate with clients to refine requirements and provide technical support
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in designing and developing customized automation machines
- Proficient in writing PLC application programs (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Familiar with PC-based programming (Visual Basic, C++, etc.) for machine controls
- Hands-on experience with schematics and electrical layouts, and able to guide technicians
- Occasional travel required
