Finance Manager

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage the organization's budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to provide insights into future financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure liquidity and efficient use of funds.
  • Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed about economic trends, market conditions, and industry developments affecting the organization.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Present financial analysis to key stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies.
  • Facilitate external audits and address any audit findings or recommendations.

Investment Analysis:

  • Evaluate potential investments and financial projects, providing recommendations based on risk and return analysis.
    • Manage the organization's investment portfolio, if applicable.
  • Financial Policies and Procedures:
    • Develop and update financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and governance.
    • Train and educate staff on financial policies and procedures.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor finance teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development within the finance department.
